Double Product Review
Every so often we get something new from Aveda that is just as exciting for the stylist as it is for our clients. There are two new products that we would love to give you a better idea of how they work and how much we are enjoying them. The first product is Smooth Infusion: Smoothing masque.
Some of the main benefits of this masque:
Reduces frizzy volume by 50% after one use.
Gives the hair a smooth and soft feeling
Will keep hair smooth, even in intense humidity
For best results it is recommended to keep the masque on for 2-5 minutes. Work the product from the ends of your hair up to the root. You can comb the product through to make sure there is even distribution to give the best result. Rinse thoroughly.
If you have curly or straight hair it can be used with most types of hair, especially if you are affected by humidity. You can use this product by itself or for an even straighter look you can also use Smooth Infusion Naturally straight when hair is towel dried. Then blow dry hair to lock in the product. Depending on how often you are washing your hair this isn’t something you have to use every time. It is a deep conditioner that adds a lot of moisture into the hair, try using this once a week. Everyone’s hair reacts differently to product so start with a smaller amount and work your way up to finding the perfect amount for your length of hair.
The second product is the new Thickening Tonic:
On the other end of the spectrum if you need a hand with having more volume in your life this product is absolutely amazing.

For best results apply the spray from roots to ends, comb through hair for even distribution, blow dry with round brush for extra volume and hold. If you let the hair air dry the result will not be the same as using a round brush. Many stylists and clients like to pair this product with Phomollient styling foam to keep their style longer. This product is great for clients who have fine hair; however anyone can use this product to amp up the volume so to speak. You can use this everytime after you wash to help create that volume/thick look.
